Popular Minnesota Drive-In Burns Down Sunday

Video shows the fire that burned down a decades-old restaurant located in northern Minnesota.

There's terrible news for fans of a popular, decades-old restaurant outside of Eveleth, Minnesota. The building that housed Wee-Z’s K&B Drive-In won't survive a fire it suffered this weekend.

The Eveleth Fire Department was paged on the report of a fire at Wee-Z’s K&B Drive-In off U.S. Highway 53 around 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning. "We did the best we could, but the building was a total loss," the Eveleth Fire Department wrote in post on Facebook. "Good news is no one was hurt and everyone got to go home."

Facebook commenters, normally seen sharing positive reviews on the restaurant's page, began memorializing the popular drive-in, which specialized in burgers, sandwiches, malts, shakes and fries.
