Potential Stabbing Thwarted By Downtown Officers: Police
Police say officers working in downtown early Tuesday morning were able to prevent a dangerous situation from becoming deadly.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The Minneapolis Police Department says two officers working in downtown early Tuesday morning were able to prevent a dangerous situation from becoming deadly. Officers witnessed a male threatening another man with a knife, according to police. Officers then quickly arrested the 36-year-old suspect for felony 2nd degree assault and recovered the knife.
The suspect was booked into Hennepin County Jail, according to a news release.
Authorities say there is no further information available regarding the arrest at this time.
