President Joe Biden To Visit Minnesota On Monday
President Joe Biden will head to Minneapolis next week as part of his administration's "Investing in America" tour.

MINNEAPOLIS — President Joe Biden will travel to Minneapolis on Monday as part of his administration’s "Investing in America" tour. A specific time and location have not yet been announced.
The White House says that thanks to bills passed by Congress and signed into law by Biden — including the American Rescue Plan, Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, CHIPS and Science Act, and Inflation Reduction Act — more than $2 billion in private sector investments have been made across Minnesota.
The White House highlighted three projects in particular:

- Xcel Energy's plan to spend $575 million for the 450-megawatt Sherco Solar Project, which would be the largest solar farm in the state
- Heliene's plan to expand solar panel construction in Mt. Iron, Minnesota.
- Bobcat's plan to build a new construction equipment assembly plant in Rogers, Minnesota
The Biden administration also highlighted $2.7 billion in federal funding that will go to 182 infrastructure projects across Minnesota. The projects primarily focus on transportation.
