Saint Paul Woman Found Dead While Children Home, Suspect Arrested

Police were called to a home in Saint Paul's Frogtown neighborhood Friday, where they discovered a woman dead and two kids in another room.

SAINT PAUL, MN — A 27-year-old man was arrested Saturday in connection with the death of a Saint Paul woman. Police found the woman dead in her home, and also discovered two children unharmed in another room, according to reports.

Saint Paul police were called to the woman's home in the 500 block of Charles Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Friday after the woman failed to pick up a third child from daycare, the Pioneer Press reported. They found blood in the home before discovering the woman's body.

Police arrested on Saturday Shakee Shabazz Miller-Brantley of Minneapolis, who is being held on suspicion of murder. Officials are working to establish the relationships among Miller-Brantley, the victim and the three children, the Star Tribune reported.

Both the victim's identity and how she was killed are unknown pending autopsy.
