Scott Jensen Rips Gov. Walz's Response To Mall Of America Shooting
The GOP candidate for governor accused his opponent of tolerating crime, and his running mate, Matt Birk, criticized "soft on crime judges."

BLOOMINGTON, MN — Republican candidate for governor, Scott Jensen, called Gov. Tim Walz's response to Thursday's Mall of America shooting "perplexing."
Following the shooting, Gov. Time Walz said that "These brazen incidents will not be tolerated."
In his response, Jensen wrote that "I am perplexed that Governor Walz declared that 'these brazen incidents will not be tolerated,' because such flagrant crimes have been repeatedly tolerated by his administration for years - and many Minnesotans hold him personally responsible for the lawlessness that has poisoned our state."
