Target To Add 30,000 New Jobs Including 1,000 New Twin City Hires
Distribution center jobs in Minneapolis and St. Paul will start at $20 an hour and other jobs include hiring managers and warehouse workers.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Target will add 30,000 new jobs across its supply chain facilities across the country and the Twin Cities will make about 1,000 new hires for distribution center positions, the retailer announced on Thursday.
The openings range from hiring managers to warehouse and operational support staff jobs. Supply chain members play a crucial role in Target’s day-to-day operations, the retailer said in the announcement and move products from suppliers to store locations. While all Target jobs pay at least $15 per hour, the retailer said that Minneapolis-based distribution center job will start at $20 per hour.
The move to add more non-seasonal roles comes as Target’s 46 supply chain facilities across the country plan to send more inventory to stores and guests than ever before, Target announced. New hires will help Target to meet increased business demands, including 36% growth in total sales and 55% growth in same-day services during the second quarter of 2021.
