TWIN CITIES, MN — Following this week's snow, an arctic blast will hit the Twin Cities metro area this weekend.
"A quick blast of arctic air will settle in across the Upper Midwest later this week," the National Weather Service said.
"Highs on Friday and Saturday will only be in the teens, with lows near or below zero Saturday night. Please bundle up when heading outside, and pack warm clothes if traveling."

"Lingering light snow together with sub-freezing temperatures has created slick road conditions," NWS cautioned.
