These MN Cities Declared Snow Emergencies Thursday: List

A major snowstorm is hammering the Twin Cities metro area on Wednesday. Residents in these areas should get their cars off the roads ASAP.

As of 12 p.m., at least 3.4 inches of snow had fallen at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 12 p.m. Thursday.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The Twin Cities metro area is seeing its second major snowstorm on Thursday, prompting cities in the region to declare snow emergencies.

As of 12 p.m., at least 3.4 inches of snow had fallen at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 12 p.m. Thursday.

Both Minneapolis and St. Paul have declared snow emergencies, which will both go into effect at 9 p.m. Several suburbs have declared their own emergencies as well.
