Twin Cities Law Enforcement Investigating Burglary Ring: Reports

More than 30 agencies are involved in the investigation of a burglary spree affecting communities across the metro area.

HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — Law enforcement agencies throughout the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area are investigating what officials call a “sophisticated burglary ring” affecting several communities. The latest cities to be hit are Roseville, Golden Valley and Minnetrista.

In Roseville, two cars were stolen, according to reports. Sgt. Rick Denneson with West Hennepin Public Safety told KSTP-TV the descriptions of the latest crimes are in line with those of suspects wanted for nearly 60 break-ins in 30 towns since mid-May.

Law enforcement agencies throughout Hennepin and Wright Counties believe a group of approximately two dozen teens, who are connected to a dangerous and volatile gang in Minneapolis, are carrying out the crimes in small groups.
