Twin Cities Sees 8th Snowiest Winter On Record: MN Weather

Monday is the 104th consecutive day that the Twin Cities has had at least 1 inch of snow on the ground.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Following the weekend's snowstorm, the current winter season in the Twin Cities metro area has cracked the top 10 for snowiest winters on record.

Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport has seen more than 80 inches of snow this season. Monday is the 104th consecutive (starting on Nov. 30, 2022) day the Twin Cities has had at least 1 inch of snow on the ground.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 28. North wind 10 to 15 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 13. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 33. South southeast wind 5 to 15 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 43. South wind around 15 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of rain after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. South southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
