NFL Suspends Ref From Vikings Game; Clip Shows Run-In With Minnesota's Linebacker

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A referee who worked Sunday's game between the Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins has been suspended by the NFL, the league confirmed Monday.
Referee Adrian Hill will sit out one game over an instance of unprofessional conduct toward a player during the Vikings-Dolphins matchup, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported.
The suspension was issued by Ramon George, the NFL's vice president of officiating.

Video showed Hill reacting forcefully when Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson offered to help him up after the two collided accidentally on the field.

Schefter did not say whether that exchange is the conduct that led to Hill's suspension.
George also suspended line judge Jeff Seeman for two games over a separate instance of unprofessional conduct toward a player in Sunday's Arizona Cardinals-New York Giants game.
