Watch: Crews Respond to Minneapolis Recycling Plant Fire
Crews responded to a large fire at a recycling plant in north Minneapolis.

Crews responded to a fire at a recycling plant in north Minneapolis Tuesday morning. Minneapolis fire said on Twitter that the fire is at the recycling plant located on 1800 block of 2nd St N.
Crews are fought the fire in "defensive mode." Water lines were laid from the outside, with "no interior operations."
Traffic control has been set up along W. Broadway and 2nd St N. The exit to W. Broadway from Interstate 94 West has also been closed, according to fire officials.

Assistant Fire Chief Bryan Tyner told the Star Tribune that because there are drums of kerosene inside, crews are battling the flames strictly from the outside.
