MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis city government offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 4, for Labor Day. Here's a look at what will be open, and what will be closed in Minneapolis for the holiday, which marks the end of summer.
What's Closed
- All Minneapolis city government offices
- Banks are closed
- Libraries are closed
- No city of Minneapolis garbage and recycling pickup on Sept. 6
- Pickup will be delayed by one day for residents
- Minneapolis 311 services are closed
- Solid Waste & Recycling customer service office is closed
- City-owned parking meters are not enforced
- Privately owned meters may still be enforced
