Alan Bersten, ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Return Tuesday

So You Think You Can Dance returns on Tuesday after a two-week hiatus.

Minnetonka’s Alan Bersten will be one of 16 contestants dancing in the special two-hour episode. The action kicks off at 7 p.m. on Fox.

• Salsa dancing heats up the amphitheater: The nine-piece salsa band Salsa del Soul is this week’s Music in the Park act. They’ll be entertaining concert goers at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Minnetonka Civic Center Campus outdoor amphitheater (14600 Minnetonka Boulevard).
• Fall sports registration is underway: The heat may make the fall sports seem in the distant future, but registration is open for cross country, football, soccer, girls’ swimming and diving, girls’ tennis and volleyball.
