The multigenerational retreat on Gale Island includes three main cabins, extensive shoreline, and a long local history as a family and college getaway.
   

• Former NDSU football player agrees to proposed plea deal in Lake Minnetonka theft case (valleynewslive.com) — A former North Dakota State football player has agreed to a proposed plea deal in a high-value theft case tied to a boat docked near a Lake Minnetonka restaurant in Excelsior. Prosecutors say a luxury bag with cash, clothing, and a Rolex disappeared on July 4, 2025; most items were later recovered in Excelsior, and a judge will review the deal in November.
