Rakhma Homes, a group home for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia is looking for outings/activities assistants. Volunteer options include Minnetonka on Wednesdays, or Minneapolis on Thursdays is seeking an activities assistant to help get our seniors out into the community. Outings are at museums, theaters, zoos, etc. You will assist for approx 2 hours with helping everyone on the bus, in and out of the buildings and assisting them throughout the activity for example pushing their wheelchair. This is a very fun, rewarding volunteer experience. Outings last normally around 2 hours and start between 915am-10am in the morning.
