Horseback Riding Camps

(Weekly camps for all youths: beginners, intermediate and special needs)

The Program

Whether you’re a novice, expert or perhaps somewhere in between – come enjoy a week (or more) of exciting activities centered around horses - English and Western style of riding, grooming tips, lunging and tacking, and a whole lot more

• Ages: 7 - 13

• Times: 9 am - 4 pm

Monday - Thursday

• Ratio of campers to trainer:

4 to 1 Max

• $385 per week

Schedule includes the following activities:

• 90% of time spent at camp is equine centric

• Horseback riding, driving and lunging 3-4 hours per day

• Horse driving: learn to drive a pony cart!

• A field trip day where your child will go on an educational tour surrounding horses (Canterbury racetrack, Polo playing, etc.)

• General horse knowledge and care-riding styles, breed types, tack repair

• Groundwork and communication through body language

• Horse safety and confidence building

• Pre-show grooming- soap painting, mane and tail braiding

• Parents are invited on Show Day from 2 - 4 pm for a horse show highlighting what was learned during the week
