Steamboat Minnehaha Volunteer

The Museum of Lake Minnetonka is an all volunteer non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving the history of Lake Minnetonka and provide opportunities for people to interact with Lake Minnetonka's historical past. The Steamboat Minnehaha runs regularly scheduled cruises weekends and holidays throughout the summer from Excelsior and Wayzata.

There are a variety of ways people can volunteer and help support!

Captain - The Captain is the responsible for the overall operation of the vessel including safety, piloting and navigation. (A State of Minnesota Commercial Masters License is required.)

Purser - The Purser handles the lines as "Minnehaha" leaves or approaches the dock.
