Best-selling author Lorna Landvik to speak at the Midwest Independent Publishers Association’s (MIPA) first meeting of the 2013-2014 Season

The guest speaker for the September 11 MIPA meeting will be author and self-
publisher, Lorna Landvik. Her topic will be “Why the Heck Did I Choose to
Self-publish?” A writer and comedian, Landvik is known for books with heart
and humor: Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons, Patty Jane’s House of Curl, and Welcome to the Great Mysterious. She elected to self-publish her
latest novel, Mayor of the Universe.
