Jared Allen is a Minnesota Vikings defensive end. The six-foot-six, 270-pound Allen had 50 tackles, five forced fumbles and one interception in 2009. He also had good stats in the pay category: His annual salary was $7.75 million last year, making him the seventh highest paid professional athlete in the Twin Cities.

Allen lives near Lake Lucy in Chanhassen. He bought his six-bedroom, six-bathroom house for $1.3 million in 2010. Coldwell Banker Burnet agents represented both the seller and Jared Allen the buyer. The home is two-stories, 7,896-square-foot and was built in 2007. It has “private, expansive lake views” and three fireplaces. There are guest/nanny quarters and a fully finished three-car garage suite.
