Mini-Hops Boys Gymnastics Level 4-9 Teams Too Much For The Competition

Mini-Hops boys’ gymnasts were just too much for the other competitive teams.  Mini-Hops teams’ level 4 through 7 each claimed first place at the MIGS.  The competition was held March 1 and 2^nd at the University of Minnesota Sport Pavilion.

The MIGS (Men's Intercollegiate Gymnastics Support Program) is not an actual team but an organization which is making an attempt to preserve, protect, enhance & expand collegiate gymnastics opportunities for gymnasts across the country.  According to their founder and Executive director, Bob Wuomos “In 1969 there were 234 men’s varsity gymnastics teams at the collegiate level. There are now only 17 teams left. The Men’s Intercollegiate Gymnastics Support Program, or MIGS Program, was founded to change that.”

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 4 Boys Team

Gymnasts in level 4 compete against other gymnast in their age bracket (ie. – ages 6, 7-8, 910 and 11+). Individual placements are awarded by age bracket.
