Mini-Hops Girls Gymnasts Compete at the Regional Championship
Only two girls from Mini-Hops qualified this year to compete at the Region IV Gymnastics Championship.

Only two girls from Mini-Hops qualified this year to compete at the Region IV Gymnastics Championship. They were Alyssa N. and Emory L. The competition was held this past Sunday, 14 April at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. The regional competition brought out the qualified top gymnasts from Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin
This was the first time both Alyssa and Emory were eligible to qualify for the regional’s championship and experience other states gymnasts caliber. With over 650 gymnasts and some routine mishaps both Alyssa and Emory represented Mini-Hops very well.

Alyssa N. (Minnetonka) scored 8.850 and tied for 20th on vault, 8.525 and tied for 23rd on uneven bars, 9.275 and tied for 7th on beam, 8.750 and tied for 39th on floor. Her final score was 35.400 and placed 18th on all-around.
Emory L. (Mound) scored 8.425 and tied for 32nd on vault, 8.400 and tied for 28th on uneven bars, 8.650 and tied for 25th on beam, 9.125 and tied for 21st on floor. Her final score was 34.600 and placed 32nd on all-around.
