Mini-Hops Girls Optional Gymnasts Compete at the MN State Championship
Several Mini-Hops girl's optional levels 7, 8 and 9 competed at the Minnesota State Gymnastics Championship.
Several Mini-Hops girl’s optional levels 7,8 and 9 competed at the Minnesota State Gymnastics Championship. The only state qualifiers were Claire F. (Level 7), Alyssa N., Emory L. (Level 8) and Emma G (Level 9).
The meet was hosted by North Crest Gymnastics and held in Saint Benedict Collage in St. Joseph Minnesota.

Level 7 competed according to age brackets (ie. – ages 11 and under).

Claire M. (St. Louis Park, age 11 and under) scored 8.400 and placed 49th on vault, 8.550 and placed 35th on uneven bars, 7.575 and placed 51st on beam, 9.200 and tied for 26th on floor. Her final score was 33.725 and placed 46th on all-around.
Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 8 Girls Team

Competition is awarded according to age brackets (ie – 13,14 and 15+).
Emory L. (Mound, age 14) scored 8.475 and placed 24th on vault, 7.850 and tied for 24th on uneven bars, 9.425 and placed 3rd on beam, 9.250 and tied for 8th on floor. Her final score was 35.000 and placed 18th on all-around.
Alyssa N. (Minnetonka, age 15+) scored 8.750 and placed 14th on vault, 7.825 and placed 16th on uneven bars, 8.950 and tied for 9th on beam, 9.275 and tied for 5th on floor. Her final score was 34.800 and placed 9th on all-around.
Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 9 Girls Team

Competition is awarded according to age brackets (ie – ages 12-14 and 15+).
Emma G. (Minnetonka, age 15+) scored 8.225 and placed 19th on vault, 8.175 and placed 12th on uneven bars, 8.325 and placed 17th on beam, 8.750 and tied for 18th on floor. Her final score was 33.475 and placed 15th on all-around.
Heading to Regional Championships
Alyssa N. and Emory L. both will be advancing to compete at the 2013 Region 4 USA Gymnastics Championship in St. Louis Missouri the weekend of April 11-15.
