Mini-Hops Girls Optional Gymnasts finish their regular season at the Rising Stars Invitational

Mini-Hops girl’s optional levels 7 and 8 end their regular season at the Rising Stars Invitational, hosted by Rising Stars Gymnastics Academy located in Oakdale. The competition was held on March 8-10 in the Gangelhoff Center at Concordia University.

With the level 7 girls unfortunately this was their last meet of the season.  Although there were close scores to qualify throughout the season, no one on the level 7 team scored the minimum requirements to continue on to the State Gymnastics Championships. 

Alyssa N. and Emory L. from level 8 to include Emma G. in level 9 had qualified early in the season to compete in the State Gymnastics Championships which will be held in St. Cloud the weekend of March 23^rd.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 7 Girls Team

Coached by; Nadya Antanovich, Michaela Chelberg and Pete Lesch.

Level 7 competed according to age brackets (ie. – ages 7-11, 12, 13+). Individual scores are not separated by age and are computed against the entire session.

Susanna F (Minnetonka, age 7-11) scored 8.4000 and placed 17^th on vault, 8.325 and placed 11^th on uneven bars, 8.600 and placed 15^th on beam, 9.300 and placed 6^th on floor.  Her final score was 34.625 and placed 12^th on all-around.

Claire M (St. Louis Park, age 7-11) scored 8.200 and placed 21^st on vault, 8.100 and placed 13^th on uneven bars, 6.950 and placed 21^st on beam, 8.550 and placed 19^th on floor.  Her final score was 31.800 and placed 17^th on all-around.

Ellie S (Plymouth, age 7-11) scored 8.275 and placed 20^th on vault, 6.875 and placed 18^th on uneven bars, 7.200 and placed 19^th on beam, 9.075 and placed 12^th on floor.  Her final score was 31.425 and placed 18^th on all-around.

Abby F. (Plymouth, age 12-13) scored 8.475 and placed 26^th on vault, 8.725 and placed 8^th on uneven bars, 8.050 and placed 24^th on beam, 9.200 and placed 13^th on floor.  Her final score was 34.450 and placed 14^th on all-around.

Ellie D. (Chanhassen, age 12-13) scored 8.750 and placed 16^th on vault, 6.350 and placed 31^st on uneven bars, 7.150 and placed 31^st beam, 8.775 and placed 30^th on floor.  Her final score was 31.025 and placed 33^rd on all-around. 

Team acquired a score of 102.200 to claim a 7^th place.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 8 Girls Team

Coached by; Nadya Antanovich, Michaela Chelberg and Pete Lesch.

Competition is awarded according to age brackets (ie – 13-14 and 15+).  Individual scores are not separated by age and are computed against the entire session

Emory L. (Mound, age 13-14) scored 8.650 and placed 5^th on vault, 8.025 and placed 4^th on uneven bars, 8.375 and placed 3^rd on beam, 9.250 and placed 1^st on floor.  Her final score was 34.300 and placed 3^rd on all-around.

Alyssa N. (Minnetonka, age 15+) scored 8.800 and placed 3^rd on vault, 7.050 and placed 7^th on uneven bars, 8.450 and placed 4^th on beam, 9.250 and placed 2^nd on floor.  Her final score was 33.550 and placed 6^th on all-around.

Kenzie K. (Minnetonka, age 15+) scored of 5.600 and placed 9^th on uneven bars, 8.425 and placed 5^th on beam. And due to injuries could not compete on vault or floor.  With a final score of 14.025 Kenzie placed 9^th on the all-around.

Team acquired a score of 81.875 to claim a 4^th place.
