The Wannabe Wine Aficionado

When I met my fiance, it wasn't long into our discussion before I learned that she was from a family of "wine aficionados." In fact, before our first date (at Yumi's in Excelsior) she poured me a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, while explaining to me that I was in good hands.

She and her family taught me the basics, but six months ago--when I became the web manager at the Wine Shop in Minnetonka--I decided that I want to learn all that I can about the world of wine. A 'Wannabe Wine Aficionado' if you will.

I should mention that I have a high appreciation for fine craft beers, and am a beginning homebrewer as well.
