Capitol Review: Area Legislator Focuses on Sex Offenders

On March 23, introduced as chief author, SF 1004, a bill providing an exception for children to the six-month preexisting condition limitation for the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association.
On March 24, introduced as a co-author, SF 1022, a bill establishing annual evaluations for principals.

On March 24, introduced as a co-author, SF 1022, a bill establishing annual evaluations for principals.
On March 24, introduced as chief-author, SF 1030, a bill providing for general education, education excellence, special programs, facilities and technology, nutrition and accounting, libraries and early childhood education.
Sen. David W. Hann (R-District 42)
On March 24, introduced as chief-author, SF 1026, a bill that includes numerous provisions relating to sex offenders. Specifically the bill would establish a sex offender civil commitment petition screening panel for purposes of determining whether the civil commitment of certain sex offenders is appropriate.

On March 23, introduced as a co-author, HF 1272, a bill appropriating money to fund a high school transition plan for students to successfully pursue postsecondary education and employment.
