Local author, Connie Claire Szarke, launches her second novel, A Stone for Amer, companion book to her 2012 Midwest Book Award finalist, Delicate Armor. Hosted by Excelsior Bay Books, Szarke will present at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4th, including a brief reading, Q & A, and signing.
Both novels are appropriate for teens and young adults, as well as adults, both men and women, regional reads for books clubs and suggested core curriculum for high school English classes.
