WHAT AM I AUDITIONING FOR:
The Companion: The Story of Ruth and Naomi

The production is based on the Old Testament book of Ruth. Ruth was a young Moabite widow who pledged her loyalty to her mother-in-law, Naomi. Ruth was moved by Naomi’s passion for prayer and her trust in the Lord. With nowhere else to turn, Ruth and Naomi decide they must trek to Bethlehem, Naomi's birthplace. Their journey is rough, but the two trust in the Lord and lean on one another for strength. Ruth says to Naomi “Where you go I will go.” As usual the show will involve many styles of dance, theater, art, and song. Since this work is original to CREO Arts & Dance, the dancers will have a chance to create some of the choreography themselves. While the story focuses on Ruth and Naomi, we also need a few strong young men to take lead roles in this show.
