Yin Yoga Workshop

Yin Yoga is a method of practice that uses static stretching and long holds to target the muscular and connective tissues around major joints and the spine. Poses are held long –typically three to six minutes enough -- to allow you to gradually increase your range of motion and flexibility of the focus area.  Each asana is achievable – and with the use of props, such as blankets, straps, and blocks, even a beginner can gain benefit significantly from this practice. The workshop ends with a series of Restorative Yoga poses. Led by Amanda Blair.
