Explore a Cave in Harmony on a One-Day Trip
Go on a guided tour and see 60-foot waterfalls, stalactites, stalagmites and fossils.
Harmony, MN – Assuming you don’t have severe claustrophobia, you can, as a Twin Cities resident, explore several outstanding caves within a short driving distance of the metro area.
One is Niagara Cave in Harmony, located in the southeastern part of the state along the Iowa border.
It was recently voted the “Best Family Attraction in Bluff Country.”
There you get a one-hour guided tour and can see 60-foot waterfalls, stalactites, stalagmites and fossils galore. There is even a wedding chapel.
There is a gemstone-mining sluice where you can mine for real gemstones and fossils. A 10-acre picnic grounds and gift shop are among other features.
Be sure and note the hours the cave is open for tours because as we get into the fall, those hours are reduced.
