Despite the recent spring snow storm, Minnesota Department of Transportation crews are continuing their work on the I-494 corridor. With the spring construction season underway, new closures begin Sunday, April 14. The ramp from France Avenue onto eastbound I-494 will close until sometime in May, but may open sooner. Detour signs will be posted. In addition, at 10 p.m. on April 14 through April 18, both directions of I-494 between France and Penn avenues will be reduced to single lanes. All of the lanes will re-open by 6 a.m. the following day.
