Get Your Tickets for 'The Sound of Music'

Tickets are nearly sold out for Minnetonka Theatre’s holiday production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music, presented on the , Dec. 9-18.

Limited seating is still available for most shows, and advanced ticket reservations are required to ensure your seats to the holiday show.

The all-local cast—starring guest artists Jen Burleigh Bentz as Maria, John Trones as Captain von Trapp and Kathleen Bloom as Mother Abbess—will enchant the full house with timeless classics including “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi," and “Edelweiss.”

Minnetonka Theatre is also offering an exclusive behind the scenes opportunity for patrons to meet with special guest and Minnetonka resident Debbie Turner, the actress who played Marta von Trapp in The Sound of Music movie. Turner will invite audience members to stay for a free post-show talkback in conjunction with the production’s Dec. 10 matinee. She will discuss making the movie, working with Julie Andrews, growing up as a child star and life after The Sound of Music.
