Where does the merchandise come from?ICA Food Shelf enjoys strong partnerships with the grocery stores in our area. Through these partnerships, every day we rescue food from local grocery stores which we then offer to neighbors through our food shelf. This program allows us to keep use good food within our community before it expires, allows us to offer a wider variety of fresh food to our neighbors in need, and helps to reduce ICA’s operating costs. Periodically, we also receive retail merchandise from these grocery partners, including furniture, small housewares, and toys. All of the items for sale at the Bazaar are new. Many of the items were donated by our partners because they were “marked out,” discontinued, returned, or have damaged packaging. We are excited that these items will be used in homes rather than end up in the landfill, and support ICA’s programs.

All proceeds benefit ICA Food Shelf and will support programs helping neighbors in our community.
