Mayor Schneider Supports Patty Acomb For Minnetonka Council
Minnetonka Mayor Terry Schneider writes letter to the editor endorsing Patty Acomb.

To the editor:
After serving as the At-Large Seat B council member from 1992 until I assumed the mayor’s position in 2008, I developed a keen understanding of the qualities and characteristics that are needed to serve in that capacity. I also have a keen interest in seeing the person that can best fulfill that role be successful in the special election on Feb. 14. That person is clearly Patty Acomb.
I have known Patty for several years and have been very impressed with her ability to listen to a wide range of opinions, gather and objectively evaluate all of the facts and make a sound rational decision based on that information. Representing all residents of the city can be a challenging effort. Patty has the deep understanding of the city, ability to weigh all sides of an issues and good judgment that is needed to be successful in that role.

The at-large council position has also played a key role in representing the city of Minnetonka in the metro region and the state. Minnetonka has a reputation of being a significant innovator and leader providing quality services and providing good government to its citizens. Patty has the presence and communication abilities to be an excellent representative of our city to the broader region and state as well as representing the residents at council meetings.
I would ask for your support for Patty Acomb and vote for her in the special election on Feb. 14.
