Minnetonka Schools Celebrate the Arts!

The arts are thriving in Minnetonka Schools! 

The weeklong ‘Celebration of the Arts!’ event kicked off Saturday morning with an arts workshop festival at the .  The families who stopped in were able to learn about various art mediums during their choice of 11 professionally run workshops, which included a hip-hop dance class put on by Tonka DanceWorks as well as an improvisational drama class taught by an actor from the Guthrie Theater. The event culminated in a performance by dancers from Tonka DanceWorks and the glee club.

All week, Minnetonka’s six elementary schools, two middle schools and high school will be offering workshops, visual arts displays as well as theatre, choir, band and orchestra performances.
