The Skippers, ranked No. 2 in the Class AA rankings faces #11 Moorhead on the road Friday. in the Schwan Cup-Gold Division championship game last week. The Spuds advanced to the Class AA state tournament last season but lost their first two games at the Xcel Energy Center.

The junior leads the Skippers with 13 goals and is second in assists with 14 and points with 27. Coatta has at least one point in eleven of the team’s twelve games.

Michael Bitzer – Moorhead goalie
The netminder has two shutouts and allowed just one goal in four other games this season. He has an impressive 93.3 save percentage.

SKIPPERS WIN IF...
They can continue to get outstanding goalkeeping from senior Matt Behounek and junior Paul Ciaccio. The Skippers have allowed just 20 goals in twelve games and have three shutouts.
