Weekly Police Blotter: Burglaries, DWI

Apr. 24

1:44 a.m.: a man, 30, from Minnetonka was arrested for domestic assault at his home on the 11000 block of Cedar Hills Boulevard. This individual has previously been charged with speeding on several accounts, 3rd degree DWI, two 2nd degree DWIs and a bout of tailgating.

3:10 p.m.: Minnetonka Police served a warrant at the to a man, 24, from Minneapolis. This gentleman has previously been charged with escaping from custody, failing to register as a predatory offender, providing a Peace Officer with false identification, 2nd degree burglary felony and theft.

4:51 p.m.: a male, 18, from Hopkins was arrested on the 4800 block of Royal Oaks Drive for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Apr. 25

11:31 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 4600 block of Highland Road for a report of burglary. No further information is known at this time.

Apr. 26

8:44 a.m.: a male, 18, from Hopkins, was arrested at Cedar Lake Road and Jordan Avenue for driving with a revoked license. This individual was previously charged with a misdemeanor DWI in Aug. 2010.

Apr. 27

1:07 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to an apartment building on the 5800 block of County Road 101 for a reported fight. Two 20 year-old females from Minnetonka and Minneapolis were arrested for underage liquor consumption.  A male, 23, from Minneapolis was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Apr. 28

10:08 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 11800 block of Shady Oak Lane for a report of burglary. No further information is known at this time.

11:15 a.m.: a man, 19, from Bloomington, Minn., was arrested at for larceny felony theft.

11:54 a.m.: a woman, 77, from St. Louis Park was cited at 13081 Ridgedale Drive () for .

2:49 p.m.: a women, 40, from Aurora, Colo. was cited at 12411 Wayzata Boulevard () for unauthorized use of a handicap permit.

3:47 p.m.: a woman, 33, from Minneapolis, was arrested at 13201 Ridgedale Drive (Target) for forgery felony. This woman has previously been charged with a careless driving misdemeanor for driving under the influence while speeding, 2nd degree sale of a controlled substance and most recently, speeding.

Apr. 29

12:17 a.m.: a man, 23, from St. Louis Park, Minn., was arrested at Interstate 494 and Excelsior Boulevard for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor.

12:23 a.m.: Minnetonka Police served a warrant to a Richfield man, 29, at Hopkins Crossroad and Interstate 394. This man has previously been charged twice for driving with a suspended license.

11:06 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 5600 block of Smetana Drive for a report of burglary. No further information is known at this time.

9:17 p.m.: a 25 year-old woman from Minneapolis, was arrested at Hwy 7 and Excelsior Boulevard for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor.

Apr. 30

3:49 a.m.: a man, 25, from Chaska, Minn., was arrested at Interstate 394 and Interstate 494 for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor, and 3rd degree DWI for refusing to submit to a chemical test of his breath, blood, or urine, which is a gross misdemeanor.

May 1

1:56 a.m.: a woman, 33, from Rogers, Minn. was arrested at Interstate 394 and Plymouth Road for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor.

May 2

12:15 a.m.: a 70 year old man from Minnetonka was arrested at Excelsior Boulevard and Woodridge Road for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor
