Public Restroom Scene of Local Theft
Credit cards were stolen from an unattended purse at a boutique on Minnetonka Boulevard.
On Feb. 25, just after noon, a wallet was stolen out of an unattended purse at the store, located at 12201 Minnetonka Boulevard.
At the time of the theft, the wallet was inside a women’s purse which was sitting on a couch within the store's public restroom. A coat covered the purse.
According to the report, two females who, “appeared to be looking at merchandise at the store,” were seen entering the bathroom around the time of the theft. A witness saw the women exit the store shortly thereafter. According to the report, when the purse was discovered, it "appeared to have been opened."

The stolen wallet contained a Wells Fargo credit card, a MasterCard and a valid Minnesota driver’s license. The owner of the wallet deactivated her credit cards after calling Minnetonka Police.
The women were not seen getting into a car and shopkeepers of neighboring stores told police they had not seen any possible suspects. Nothing else appeared to have been taken from the store.

The case in now listed as inactive by the Minnetonka Police.
