ResourceWest Springfest is a Party

ResourceWest SpringFest Biergarten Fundraiser is Friday, April 29, 2016.

ResourceWest is sponsoring its annual fundraiser “ResourceWest SpringFest Biergarten Fundraiser” in the Minnetonka Community Center, located at 14600 Minnetonka Boulevard in Minnetonka Minnesota on Friday, April 29th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

Kim Hundwardsen, the President of ResourceWest, is looking forward to the event in Minnetonka and thinks it will be a fun event. She went on to tell us, “ResourceWest is a place to go for people who find themselves in trouble and everything is going wrong around them. We are good at helping people make a plan to support their recovery and coordinating their efforts by connecting individuals and families to resources, which is highlighted by our tag line Connecting People, Creating Hope. Some of the things we can help with are health issues, job transitions, unexpected expenses, and transportation issues. ResourceWest is very good at helping people to organize their lives when the challenges in their lives have become overpowering.”

Tarrah Palm, the new Executive Director, at ResourceWest was also excited about the upcoming SpringFest event. She went on to say, “One of the things that helps us to get the word out about who we are and what we do is an event like SpringFest. People learn about ResourceWest as volunteers, clients or at our fundraiser. Although, we look forward to raising funds to help us in support of our neighbors, we also hope this event will educate our community about Suburban Poverty. By doing so we will be able to show greater compassion towards each other and overcoming this challenge. We also think it is important to acknowledge Cargill for their financial support of our SpringFest event. ”

Join us in the ResourceWest Biergarten (lederhosen optional)…. there will be a German buffet meal, catered by The Deli Double of Hopkins, and an open bar of beer provided by LTD Brewing of Hopkins and local wines provided by Mac’s Liquor. The event will feature a silent and live auction of some really nice items. The “Zurah German Band” will be playing music for the event. At the event and right now raffle tickets are selling for $20.00 each with a chance to win $1000, $500, and $250.
