The Minnetonka Skippers girls volleyball team's season came to an end with a 3-0 loss to the Wayzata Trojans in the Section 6 AAA semifinal game on Tuesday night at Benilde-St. Margaret's High School.

The Skippers entered the tournament as the number three seed, and couldn't upset the second seeded Trojans. The Trojans defeated the Skippers in three straight games by the scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-16.

The Trojans play Eden Prairie for the Section 6 championship and a birth in the state tournament on Thursday, 7 p.m. at Benilde-St. Margaret's High School in St. Louis Park.
