The Mound Westonka White Hawks youth wrestlers have been busy wrestling in area tournaments over the past few weekends. On Sunday, January 5, they traveled to Norwood Young America for the first-ever NYA Youth Duals. The White Hawks wrestlers had a thrilling final match, topping NYA 34-33, earning a third place trophy. On Saturday, January 11, twenty seven White Hawks youth wrestlers participated in the Watertown Mayer Youth tourney, with many wrestlers earning first and second place finishes. Several members of the White Hawks varsity squad were also in attendance at Watertown Mayer mentoring the youth wrestlers. The youth program will participate in several more tournaments and meets, and will host the MWO Youth Open Team and Individual tournament on Sunday, February 16.
