A Minnetonka dog has made friends with a fawn in its back yard.
A heart-warming encounter between a dog and a fawn in a Minnetonka backyard is starting to gain national attention.
KARE 11 published a video Thursday showing Deb Olson’s 4-year-old shitzapoo, Gracie, playing with one of two fawns that have been hanging around her house. In only about a day, the video gained 175 Facebook likes.
In the article’s comments section, viewer Melissa Aos wrote:
"There has been so much trauma and tragedy in the news lately. This story is actually quite a relief, a departure from what I'm used to seeing. It provokes a great feeling of whimsy and joy."
The video has also been featured on the websites of 9 News in Colorado and USA Today—which are both Gannett companies like KARE 11.
