The Lockwood Theater Company of Northfield will be rescheduling their fall performance of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, directed by Ryan Heinritz to February/March of 2014.
“After careful consideration of a number of scheduling conflicts with the production’s artistic team, prospective cast members, and venue, we have chosen to reschedule Spelling Bee until the Winter/Spring of 2014.” Said Lockwood Theater’s Artistic Director Kathy Rush. “We are working on a few dates with the production’s Artistic Team that work and will announce those very soon, but plan is to open in February or March.” Spelling Bee Director, Ryan Heinritz was confident in this decision. “We want to put the best product on the stage with the right people, and this fall was posing a few challenges to do so.” Said Heinritz. “Producing a production such as Spelling Bee is just like putting a puzzle together. You need every piece to fit perfectly before you show it off your friends and family, and that is exactly what we intend do in early 2014.”
