• Knights win instant classic over Macalester to keep Book of Knowledge (carleton.edu) — Carleton College's football team, based in Northfield, pulled out a thrilling 48–45 win over Macalester to keep the Book of Knowledge rivalry trophy, highlighted by a Hail Mary and a late game-winning drive. Northfield fans now turn their attention to the next big rivalry, as the Knights travel across the river to face St. Olaf for the Goat Trophy on Saturday, September 26 at 1 p.m.
