Eleven local organizations have stepped to the plate to make this year’s Northfield Area Family YMCA Healthy Kids Day a hit.
Healthy Kids Day is planned for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27, at Bridgewater Elementary School. The event is free and open to the public.
This year’s theme is “Get a Jump on Summer.”

Designed to help kids stay active head to toe this summer, Healthy Kids Day is a fun-filled morning of interactive games, family activities and healthy giveaways. In addition to displays from local merchants and community organizations, local police, fire and rescue personnel will be on hand to show off their vehicles and provide safety tips.
Also planned are bike raffles and inflatable jump/bounce houses.
