Growing Up Healthy is seeking volunteers to help at weekly Martes en el Parque (Tuesdays in the Park) summer gatherings. Every Tuesday, from 6:30-8:00pm, GUH sponsors family-friendly programming at the park behind Greenvale Elementary. The purpose of these evenings is to provide a space for Northfielders, including residents of the mobile home parks, to gather together to play, chat, and connect.
We are seeking volunteers, preferably who are bilingual in English and Spanish, interested in helping with childcare. GUH will provide plenty of books, crafts, balls, and snacks, you provide your energy to help facilitate a fun and enriching evening for a diverse group of children.
We are also seeking volunteers interested in leading a craft project with the adults. GUH will provide interpreters and supplies if you are willing to share a craft!
