UPDATE: Rebecca Kasper, 19

Rebecca Dawn Kasper was born June 21, 1993, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Daniel and Sheryl Kasper.  She was raised in St. Cloud until the age of 9 when she moved with her family to Fountain Hills, Arizona.  In 2005, she moved with her family to Northfield, Minnesota.  Becky was a 2011 graduate of Northfield High School, studying her last year at Inver Hills Community College.  She was currently finishing her second year at Arizona State University – W. P. Carey School of Business.  A marketing major, she was scheduled to graduate after 3 years.  Over the years Becky was active in soccer, softball, basketball, gymnastics, playing trumpet in the band and as a cheerleader captain. She spent her high school years working at McDonalds and developed many close friendships with the people there.   She was a strong, determined and fiercely independent young woman who had the world before her.

Survivors include her parents Dan and Sheryl Kasper of Northfield; her sister, Alyssa Sell of St. Cloud; her aunts: Kim (Randy) Dixon of Clinton, Maine, Connie Sell of Smithfield, North Carolina, Lori Kasper of St. Louis Park, Janet (Mike) Robinson of Searcy, Arkansas, Doris Kasper of Nowthen; her uncles: Gene (Robbie) Sell of St. Joseph, Mike (Vera) Kasper of Clear Lake, Jim Kasper of Big Lake; cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.   She was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Ruth Kasper.

Becky passed away tragically on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in Tempe, Arizona, at the age of 19.

Funeral services will be 2:00PM Saturday, May 4, 2013, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northfield with Pastor Jason Cooley and Pastor Orlin Mandsager officiating.  Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Northfield.  Casket bearers will be members of the Band of  10,000 Aches Running Club. Visitation will be 3-7PM Friday, May 3, 2013, at the Benson & Langehough Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
