Another Movie to Be Filmed in Northfield

Northfield is getting a lot of attention from Hollywood these days. The southern Minnesota city was the primary shooting location for Hallmark's upcoming Christmas film, "Love Always, Santa," and now there's plans for another, though entirely different kind of movie to be filmed in Northfield.

Upcoming movie "The Nanny" will be shot in the Northfield area. The Nanny is a “very, very dark take on Mary Poppins,” producer Patrick Ewald told Northfield News.

The production company has not yet determined how the film will be distributed. Ewald told Northfield News that the scale of The Nanny will be similar to "Love Always, Santa."
