The Northfield Raiders boys hockey team on Tuesday night opened its season at the with a big 10-3 win over visiting Bloomington Kennedy.
Forward Taylor Freiermuth got the scoring going at the 2:32 mark of the first period with an unassisted goal. He added a powerplay goal in the third period.
Eight other Raiders tallied goals. They were Andrew Scofield, Nathan Scofield, Colton Woodruff, Sam Fox, Cody Colegrove, Joshua Sonnee, Kody Beckers and Logan VonRuden.
