Police Reserve Officers Wanted!

Here’s your chance! The Northfield Police Department is looking for a few good women and men to become Police Reserve Officers. Go to the city website and apply by this Friday!

The Northfield Police Department is seeking qualified individuals to fill volunteer
reservist positions. These volunteer positions are responsible for providing
aid and support to the Northfield Police Department and to cooperate with other
law enforcement agencies. This may include riding along with police officers,
responding to calls, apprehending criminals, assisting citizens, public safety
at community and/or public events, foot patrol and disaster assistance. Monthly
meeting & ten events per year required. Training and uniforms are
provided.

To qualify you must be at least 19 years of age, a U.S. Citizen, have a high
school education and a desire to provide community service.

A current application is required. Applicants must pass an extensive
background investigation.

Application deadline is 2:00 PM on Friday, March 15, 2013.
